Easy to Install Safety Guarding Reduces Injuries

MONTREAL (June 28, 2022)– Attendees at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2022 will be able to see first-hand new safety products from Ferndale Safety, a North American-based machine safety manufacturer and provider.  Their unique machine safety products notably include Vertical Turret Lathe (VTL) guarding and electronic brakes for single-phase motors.

The Ferndale Safety engineering team has worked hard designing the next-generation VTL and Vertical Boring Mill (VBM) guarding solutions over the last two years.  The Ferndale VTL guard features modularity and easy assembly with a typical installation time of 2 hours while offering protection against entanglement hazards, thrown chips, and coolant splashing.

Ferndale Safety will also show off their new MakeSafe product line of single-phase motor brakes.  In short, these brakes install in seconds and provide almost instantaneous stopping on machines such as bench grinders and band saws.
